I savor life and know that every day keeps getting sweeter. From seeing my husband on the floor laughing with my children, to quiet moments...alone in the house before everyone gets up. I marinate in each experience of the journey.
I watch and wait. I wait for the goodness in simplicity%u2026the simplicity of seeing my daughter's eyes dance the first time she tasted cotton candy. The way my son runs with reckless abandon, arms wide, tackling my legs when I come in the front door after being away.
I am a fool for belly laughs. I will sing songs, dance a jig, or make a joke%u2026anything to get an open mouth, belly laugh out of a preschooler. Any time. Any place.
I believe that life's art is always around us, part of our everyday lives. My passion is documenting life's celebrations for clients to hang on their walls. Life's art can't be truly enjoyed, until it is captured and shared.
I feel the need to give back, for the many blessings that I have been given. I am involved with several philanthropies (Junior Woman's Club of Raleigh, Inspiration through Art, and Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep) in order to share my talent for the benefit of others.
I know that work, laundry, cleaning, and errands are always going to be around calling my name, beckoning for my attention. However, I also know that my children will not always be around, calling my name, and beckoning for my attention. So most of my hours are spent%u2026.placing a rug over the dust bunnies, setting laundry to the side, and taking in life...one moment at a time.
