Yes, yes, yes it’s that time of year again. The morning air has a bit of a chill to it. Kids are heading back to school. And the thought of football and sweater weather makes my heart go pitter patter. Before you know it, yule tide cheer will be in the air. Don’t be scrambling at the last minute to get your annual family picture taken. Book your mini session now and get one thing off your list before that list is even made.
This year I’m offering two different locations, two different times. One spot for the traditional family and the other for the modern family. The choice is up to you but don’t wait too long because spaces are limited.

Today I finished up my Spring mini sessions. The kids were just as cute today as they were yesterday. And the bunnies were just as cute today as they were yesterday. I’d like to thank everyone who participated. I will be having another exclusive session in the next couple of months. I’m thinking it will involve mother’s day. If my mini sessions are something you are interested in, please make sure to contact me to get on my email list. My newsletters go out every couple of months so you don’t have to worry about spam. They basically just keep you up to date on current specials I am running.

Yesterday was the perfect day for spending outside and taking pictures. I loaded up three bunnies along with some other small props and drove out to a farm in Southern Wake County. The farm is adorable! There is an adorable red barn and chickens galore wandering around on the property. There were so many that every time I drive there I’m afraid I’m going to run them over. Once I got everything set up, all I needed was some kids in adorable clothes. The kids arrived on cue and everything went off without a hitch. The bunnies loved eating their carrots and the kids loved feeding them. Moms, dads, brothers and sisters all left with smiles on their face. I just want to thank all of my returning clients and my new clients for coming out yesterday.

You won’t see prices like this again for a very long time. You have two options for my sale. The first is to purchase the digital images from a past session. Each individual session is $200. You will receive all edited images from the session in high resolution along with a print release. This is an $800 savings!
The second option is to pre-purchase a session for next year. This may be given as a gift (and what a great gift it would be!) There’s no time like the present to have these fleeting moments in time preserved forever. All sessions my take place within a 25 mile radius of Cary, NC and must agree to Kimberlee Edwards Photography’s standard terms and conditions. The session will last up to 2 hours and you will receive a private viewing gallery to share with all of your friends and family. You will also receive a DVD with all the edited images from your session. You will have at minimum 25 unique images. The cost for this package is $400 which is a $750 savings!
I just want to thank all of my wonderful clients this year. I’ve had an absolute joy working with each and everyone of you and I look forward to working with you again next year.

I have decided this year to jump on the Cyber Monday Bandwagon. To thank all of my past clients and welcome my new clients, I have decided to offer two different specials. One is to purchase archived images from this year and the second it to purchase sessions for next year. Session may be purchased as gifts but must be held within a 25 mile radius of Cary, NC. This deal will only be available for purchase on Monday, November 29th. There are a limited number of sessions for sale so plan on purchasing sooner rather than later. I’m announcing this year’s holiday mini session package! Yay!!! Hard to think that in a few short months, it will be sweater weather and that our children will have sugar plums dancing in their head as they sleep. I can’t wait. This year I am offering 30 minute sessions that includes the print release for 2 high resolution images of your choice. This is perfect for making your own holiday cards or printing out large volumes of prints to be included with your cards. Sessions must be booked for the months of October and November. I am planning on taking some time in December off unless a session is scheduled in advance such as a newborn session or birthday session. I love the holiday season and I want to be able to focus on my family and my own daughter’s birthday. (She’s one of the unfortunate ones that has a birthday right after Christmas.) I’ve had some requests as to what some of my products look like. The one that I’ve had most recently has been the brag book. The brag book is a spiral bound 4×6 photo book. There is a clear cover to protect the images. You can add as many pictures as you’d like, which is great. It makes a nice gift for family members and it’s also a great way to have a copy of all the images from your session. These handy, dandy books start at $15 for a 10 page book. Each additional page is $1.00.
The other new item that I have is accordion wallets. These are cute, cute, cute little books. They are 3×3 squares and the perfect size to keep in a purse or diaper bag. You could even have it sitting upright on a desk. There’s a magnetic closure so you don’t have to worry about the book coming open while you are carrying it. There is spots for 7 to 10 images if you should choose. They are $35 for 3 identical books. Great to keep one for yourself and give the other two away to grandparents.

I’m so excited that I’ve procured time slots at the WRAL Azalea Gardens for this year’s Spring Mini Sessions. I have two days with morning and afternoon slots available. They will occur on March 13th from 9:00 to 11:30 am and March 14th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Session fee is $30 and will last for 20 minutes. This covers 4 subjects. Each additional person is $10. You will also receive an 8×10 print and 2- 5×7 prints of one pose of your choice from this session. Additional prints may be purchased at the standard rate. Contact me today to reserve your spot.
