I photographed this gorgeous pregnant  momma a couple of weeks ago and I am super duper excited to share them finally.  Can you believe this mom is pregnant with her fourth child and that she was three weeks away from giving birth!?!  She’s so gorgeous just inside and out.  Absolutely the nicest lady in the world.  She has the most beautiful smile and says the kindest words.  With her other three children, she never had maternity images taken and figured since this child was to be her last, she might as well go all out.

Be on the look out to see what her new little man looks like as well as her 3 other children.  I just got back from taking pictures of all four of her children and there is only one word to describe it….CUTE!!!!

This weekend I met up with Miss N for some pregnancy photos.  This is her second child and wanted some fabulous images to document her pregnancy with this son.  Miss N is also a fellow photographer and we had a blast working together.  She was game for just about anything.  Including wearing no shoes and a tank top for most of the shoot.  The highs for that day was only 40 degrees!  I on the other hand had mittens, a sweater, and wool coat on.

It was great working with you N and I can’t wait to see your newest addition in a few months.

I finished my last session of the year last week.  I was going back through all of my images from this past year  for my client appreciation contest, and I realized I am just so super lucky!  I have just about the best job in the world.  I get to do something that I love and I’m actually excited for each and every session that I do.  My clients really are the best.  The support and referrals that I’ve received this year have been absolutely amazing!!!  I love capturing the fleeting smiles and the occasional pout.  The quiet moments where you forget I’m there with a camera and a sly smile will emerge.  The times where the kids are just acting like kids- funny faces, running around, knock knock jokes, and looking for that infamous cartoon character in my camera lens.  BEST-OF-KIMBERLEE-EDWARDS-PHOTOGRAPHYBEST-OF-KIMBERLEE-EDWARDS-PHOTOGRAPHYBEST-OF-KIMBERLEE-EDWARDS-PHOTOGRAPHYBEST-OF-KIMBERLEE-EDWARDS-PHOTOGRAPHYI just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you.  I’m looking forward to 2011 and seeing how your family has changed.

I met the C family in December of last year.   They are such a wonderfully warm family and I was so excited to  receive a call from them a couple of months ago when they scheduled a maternity/family session.  Unfortunately, I had to reschedule their originally scheduled session due to a stomach bug but it really worked out in our favor.  The day we rescheduled to was gorgeous.  It was still in the 70s when we started our shoot and it was just starting to feel warm out when we ended.  Since the session was rescheduled to the Fourth of July, there was a very patriotic feel to the whole session.  Everyone was dressed in red, white and blue and it looked so great.

Their oldest daughter loves dressing up and couldn’t wait to get on her Jessie outfit from the Toy Story series.  This was kind of our bribe for her to cooperate and take “regular” pictures.  Her outfit was complete with the hat and boots.  She even did a little cowgirl dance for me before I left.  I just love this age.  It’s full of so much fun and imagination.

I can’t wait to see the C family in a couple of weeks to photograph their newest addition.  I wish you all the best of luck with delivery and can’t wait to get my hands on your sweet baby girl.  Hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

I was contacted early this week by A interested in booking a maternity session.  She is 37 weeks pregnant and her photographer had to cancel on her.  Eeek!!!!  I emailed her back right away to let her know that I did have spots available this weekend and to contact me so we could talk.  Well, I didn’t hear back from her.  OK.  No big deal.  I figured she found another photographer.  Anyway, on Sunday, I received another email from A asking if I had received her first email.  Oh, NO!!!  I called A right away.  She explained that her husband, M, was only available on the weekends for pictures and she was afraid that they wouldn’t get done before their baby girl arrives.  I had just finished up a previous maternity session and my afternoon was free.  A and M told me that she was available.  Yay!  Crisis averted and pregnant woman made happy.  One more thing for a nesting mom to check of her list.

A and M are a very wonderful couple.  A was up for just about anything that I wanted her to do.  Poor thing, though.  I had her up and down off the ground the whole session.  That’s not an easy task for a mom with a couple of weeks left to her pregnancy.  I had a great time with them and I’m looking forward to taking pictures of their new baby girl when they bring her home.  Here’s their sneak peek.  I hope you enjoy them.

There must be something in the water!  I had four bump sessions scheduled for this week.  One of them was for my friend S.  She asked me to take pictures of her and “Cosita”.  “Cosita” is expected to arrive sometime in the next three weeks.  I’m so excited about this.  S is absolutely one of the nicest people I have ever met.  She is another wonderful woman that I met through the Junior Woman’s Club of Raleigh.  I’m telling you.  It’s only nice women that join this organization.  Anyway, I digress.  “Cosita” is going to be one very lucky child.  Her mother is so warm and caring.  Plus she is going to have the bedroom that is the envy of every one of her little girl friends.  It’s the room of every little girl’s dreams; complete with crystal chandelier.  Any way, here’s the sneak peek!  I hope you enjoy.

I met with M and her husband S this weekend.  If you are a follower of my blog you might remember M from this fall when I took some head shots for her real estate website.  She is one of the sweetest people I know and she obviously married a man just as nice and warm as she.  Their baby is going be one lucky child to have such wonderful parents.

On a side note, I met M through the Junior Woman’s Club of Raleigh.  This is an organization that is very near and dear to me.  I’ve been a member for 4 years now and it was one of the best decisions that I made.  If you are looking for

a fun civic organization, this is a great one to be a part of.

Okay, I know you don’t want to read about my ramblings.  You really want to see my sneak peek.  Here you go.  Enjoy!

I met with K and her daughter little Miss A-G again this morning.  K has the most adorable baby bump.  Seriously, if I could look that adorable while pregnant, I might be able to be talked into having a third child.  (In-laws, if you are reading this, don’t hold your breath on this one happening :) )  Anyway,  I met at their gorgeous home this morning for their session.  A-G was as cute as a button and definitely feeling much better.  She was much more receptive to having pictures taken.  K was such a lovely hostess and gorgeous model.  It really makes my job very easy.  Anyway, here is her sneak peek.  I hope you enjoy viewing!

I had a wonderful photo session yesterday with K and her son L. They were so fun and easy to work with.

L is expecting a new baby brother in the next couple of weeks. I can’t wait to meet and photograph their new bundle of joy. Congrats again.
