If you don’t know, I also do head shots. I have special sessions created specifically for quick head shots. I can either do a studio style shoot or a more informal setting. Please contact me if you are interested in updating your picture. It’s a new year so isn’t it time for something new
?

I finished my last session of the year last week. I was going back through all of my images from this past year for my client appreciation contest, and I realized I am just so super lucky! I have just about the best job in the world. I get to do something that I love and I’m actually excited for each and every session that I do. My clients really are the best. The support and referrals that I’ve received this year have been absolutely amazing!!! I love capturing the fleeting smiles and the occasional pout. The quiet moments where you forget I’m there with a camera and a sly smile will emerge. The times where the kids are just acting like kids- funny faces, running around, knock knock jokes, and looking for that infamous cartoon character in my camera lens.

I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m looking forward to 2011 and seeing how your family has changed.

A couple of weeks ago, I took pictures of my friend Tara Furman. She is the founder of Knowing God Ministries and is just a phenomenal woman. I met her about a year ago at one of my MOPS meetings. She talked about a multitude of things including raising your children in a Christian home, incorporating quiet time into your daily ritual, and the necessity for prayer. She was funny and witty and just so wonderfully nice. I found out at the time she had written a Bible study geared toward woman who want to learn to pray and speak with God. I bought the books and hoped to squeeze it into my daily routine. A few months later, I learned that Tara was leading the study and a local church. I snapped up the chance to learn from her. The study was everything I hoped it to be.\
Tara contacted me and told me that her ministry is expanding and she needed some new head shots. I couldn’t wait to help her in her ministry. Here are a few images from our session. If you ever have the chance to hear Tara speak or spread His word, please snap it up. You won’t be disappointed.

I tagged along with another local photographer, Autumn Harrison (www.reminiscingmoments.com) thi s
past Friday. She was updating headshots for her friend Chassie Virginia Deitz (www.chassievirginia.com). Chassie is just a class act. You really should check out her resume. She’s done quite a bit of modeling and work in the pageant world. She’s a plus sized model, actress, motivational speaker, pageant coach/coordinator and beauty queen. It was so easy to work with her. Quite a difference from chasing toddlers around. I’m not used to telling people to put a hand in a specific place and them actually listen. Hope you enjoy Chassie’s sneak peek.

And one last picture. Grace with a real live beauty queen…

This afternoon, I took some head shot photos for a realtor friend. She’s such a beautiful woman, that it made my job very easy. I couldn’t have paid the weather gods for more perfect weather. Gorgeous blue skies and the perfect temperature. I think you will like these pictures for Mary’ s new web
site.
