I met up with the adorable Miss H and her parents this weekend for her portrait session. I first meet Miss H when she was just a couple days old for her newborn pictures in Raleigh. Well that sweet baby girl is almost nine months old and has turned into quite the adorable little thing! I could not get enough of those pinchable cheeks! Just too cute!!!!! We headed on over to a park in Cary for the first part of our photography session. Miss H was probably the easiest 9 month old that I have photographed. She would just sit where I placed her and didn’t seem too upset by the cooler temperature. After the bridge session we headed into downtown Cary for a different look, with a complete wardrobe change and set. I love how her mom just had everything planned out to a tee and knew exactly what to bring to make the session fabulous.
Thank you so much for letting me take Miss H’s 9 month pictures and I can’t wait to celebrate her first year with you. The cake smash will be just fantastic and so much fun.

Ah the sweetest of a newborn baby. There is nothing like it. Their sweet smell, the softness of their skin, the peacefulness of their sleep. I am in constant awe of just how beautiful newborn are. This little guy was no exception. He truly was made perfectly. One he was asleep with a full belly of milk he was a golden child. I really couldn’t have asked for a better photography session.

This little precious girl is definitely made of sugar and spice. She was the most adorable squishy little thing.
I was so excited when my friend called to inquire about prices. I was even more excited when she told me she was 5 months pregnant and was expecting a little girl. The reason why I was so excited was that I had just seen her the night before and had absolutely no clue she was pregnant. Yeah, I wish I was that lucky. Heck even when I saw her 7 days post partum, she didn’t look like she gave birth.
Any way, I digress. Her daughter was absolutely beautiful when I got to meet her. She was a tiny little peanut but full of cuddly goodness. I even got to hold her while she ate a bottle and did make the thought run through my mind that another little one in the house might not be so bad. Her little squeaks and mews were so precious. I loved how her parents looked at her with so much love and anticipation. Just really melts my heart.

I was finally able to meet this sweet precious little girl about a month ago. Her mom and I have been talking about her birth and her newborn pictures for quite some time. She was so excited to have me take these treasured images and I was so honored! This little peanut was just a joy to work with. She was so calm and laid back. Just a photographer’s dream Almost makes me want to have a third….almost.

Just a little quick peek at what I’m currently working on now. I just couldn’t resist! She’s way too squeezably (totally made that word up) adorable!!!! I met up with this little cutie along with her mom and dad to photograph all her sweetness, pudginess and shocking blue eyes! Mom even brought along a small cake so she could celebrate how turning one is fun!

I finished my last session of the year last week. I was going back through all of my images from this past year for my client appreciation contest, and I realized I am just so super lucky! I have just about the best job in the world. I get to do something that I love and I’m actually excited for each and every session that I do. My clients really are the best. The support and referrals that I’ve received this year have been absolutely amazing!!! I love capturing the fleeting smiles and the occasional pout. The quiet moments where you forget I’m there with a camera and a sly smile will emerge. The times where the kids are just acting like kids- funny faces, running around, knock knock jokes, and looking for that infamous cartoon character in my camera lens.

I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m looking forward to 2011 and seeing how your family has changed.

I met with the H family yesterday for their holiday portraits. If you follow my blog, you might remember little Miss A. She was one of the first newborns that I photographed. At that time she was just 7 weeks old and now she’s 4 months old. What a precious little butterball she has become. Mister R, mom and dad all joined her in the picture process this time. Such a beautiful family. I hope you enjoy their sneak peek.
